bag handle help, please.

Hi everyone, I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I really need help in figuring out how to attach my bag handles to the bag. I basically finished the body of the bag except for the unfinnished top rim and the handles part...Preferrably, I want the handles to show on the outside instead of half of it hidden in the bag.

this is the one of the handles I want to attach. It did not come with anything and it's just smooth.


Perferrably I want the handle to show like this, but I don't know how to.
