I made a shirt using iron-on letters-- they are sliver glitter, and have a plastic-y feel to them. They are kind of difficult to work with, because if you don’t heat them enough they peel, but if you heat them too much, they "melt" into the fabric and disappear.

Well, I thought I had heated them appropriately, but I guess I must not have because after wearing the shirt for a few hours, the letters started peeling off and sticking to each other.

I am hoping that I can buy silver glitter fabric paint, and paint on the letters and this shirt and that that will fix this by sticking it together, but I am not sure. I don’t think I will be able to iron it if I fabric paint it, but I know there is a chance the ironing will ruin it anyway.

Do you have suggestions on how to fix this shirt? Thank you!!!

Here is the back of the shirt that I made--

The front says www.gripfaq.com - which is a website dedicated to making your hands really strong. My husband goes to hand strength competitions (and made the website), which is why I made the shirt-- supporting him and his website, even if it is weird, lol.
