Mar. 12th, 2007 03:03 am...so I thought I'd at least try to take some inspiration from this fact. I've made a bunch of weather-related jewelry lately; these earrings are my favorite. They are inspired by a pair that I made when I was much younger, but these are made of plastic rather than clay, and as such are lighter (which I've always found a good thing for earrings!).

On a related note, for those who use ink on top of either art plastic/shrink plastic/recycled plastic, what do you use to seal it after shrinking? I'd always been told to coat it with clear nail polish, but in some cases this makes my (permanent) ink smudge. Any ideas, keeping in mind that whatever it is it must be OK to be worn near the skin?
