craftgrrlI found these placemats at Salvation Army for .50, and thought they would make a cool purse. What do you guys think?
The lining was this fabric I found for .99 yd. It's normally really stretchy, so I backed it with fusible interfacing to firm it up.
The applique was cut out of the lining fabric and backed with the interfacing again.
So what do you guys think?
ETA: Sorry for not cutting before, won't happen again!
