hey guys

again, im asking for your expert knowledge and help

i'm going to be knitting a friend of mine's bub a monkey in a suit. my friend asked me to knit something for the little 'un, and when i voiced the fact that bub might end up herking on it, she suggested that she could propbably hand wash it.

so here i lay my question - for those of you who have kids or have made things for kids, does it matter if i knit it out of acrylic or wool? should i stuff it loosly (instead of tight like i normally do) so that when it gets washed, it'll dry faster, or does it not matter?

any other tips for knitting toys for bubs? apart from the dont-use-small-buttons-ect-that-they-could-die-from. i dont want to be responsible for killing my friends son. that would make social situations awkward.

and just so this aint text only, here up is the next thing ive knitted. branching out from the monsters (cause not everyone wants to own a monster (i know, i know, i couldnt believe it either)) i knitted my sister a book instead.
because she likes reading
more than cryptozooology.

go figure
