Softies I made
May. 19th, 2007 01:07 pmHere's what I've been up to this week. I made a bunch of stuffed toys (aka softies, stuffies, or plushies)! Click behind the cut to see...
Over the weekend my boyfriend sketched the cutest little monster creature and I said "Oo, I'd like to make that!" So he drew me up a pattern, I got to cutting and sewing and voila! (You can click the pics to enlarge)

He's made of fleece with felt eyes, nose, and teeth. Seriously adorable and horribly snuggly. He's slept with us every night since.
Then I got on a little Kawaii binge and made a few cutesy little softies.

A smiling star and two (I dunno what that face is) onigiri, or rice balls! I love them. They're made of felt with embroidery floss features and button cheeks. Each is about 3.5 inches tall.
Next I made an adorable little blue owl. He might be used in a swap, but we'll see how attached I get to him.

It's not a great pic, but you get the idea. He's made of felt and embroidery floss. I really like the stitched details I did on his wings and chest.
And here's the whole gang!

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Happy Crafting! :)
