so i have a friend who is obsessed with all things pirates. its really an overwhelming addiction. we're celebrating her bday early (taking her out tonight) and i made her a build-a-bear teddy cuz she needs something huggable right now. he's all rigged out in a birthday suit and i'm wrapping up a bear sized pirate costume for Captain Bandit to be holding.

now here's my problem...y'know those box 'houses' that build-a-bear gives you to take your bears home in? i had the brilliant idea of turning it into a pirate ship. i've covered the box with paper, so i have a blank canvas now...but the really great mental image that i had is not translating well onto the box. it also didn't help that my roommate came out this morning and told me that she "didn't see how this was ever going to be a pirate ship." do any of you have any ideas? i don't need it to be realistic looking, and i've been googling images to maybe get an idea of how to sketch out a pirate ship on a very upright square box, but google hasn't been super helpful.

i have all day to devote to this, i just need a little jumping of point to get me going....
