Everyone loves a picnic!
May. 30th, 2007 10:05 pmAt the beginning of the month, I made a picnic blanket. The picnic said blanket was made for was a doomed picnic. When I was finishing up things the day before, my sewing machine messed up and made the finishing up last a looooot longer than it should have. The day of the picnic, it rained. On the way to the picnic spot, our brakes went out, and we collided with the car of this scary woman who we believe was on meth.
Needless to say, I never got use my blanket or take any fun pictures of it. It's a really good blanket, though, so I decided to take fun pictures of it today on the front lawn with the dog.

It's quilted and has the same pattern when you flip it over.

It's wider than it is long, which I like.

Red gingham is a picnic must!

...As are large cows in fields of flowers!

The nursing calf freaks me out a little. I didn't notice him when I bought the fabric.

The stitching on the border is a little so-so. (No pun intended.)

And cue ridculous action shots taken by my mom as she insisted, much like Mrs. White, that the neighbors were probably laughing at us.

Terriers like picnic quilts! (Actually, she was perplexed by it, but I think she was a fan.)

That's all. ^_^
