Why, it's Knitty's Tahoe! And I finished it in a month, I am SO proud of myself. (This was done on size 7 & 9 needles, and the only other sweater I've made was done on 13s and took me over a year!)


My mom likes it =D (It's not buttoned or anything because it was ninety degrees in their house and she was definitely not going to keep it on. But it does fit her pretty nicely.)


And these were for the boyfriend's mother. They're a little over an inch wide, and made from a tutorial here.


The comedian Demetri Martin has a joke about how he likes fruit baskets, because they allow you to mail someone fruit without appearing insane. A friend of mine took this and ran with it, imagining how awesome it would be to check your mail and get a tiny package and open it to reveal...a single grape, or a kiwi. After that conversation I just had to make her a little crocheted strawberry, don't you think?
