doggie dress!
Jun. 3rd, 2007 03:12 pmI'm not one of those people who carry my dog around in a purse, push her in a stroller, or dress her up when it's not cold outside, but I had to do this.
We were getting some dog food at the pet store the other day, and I found these adorable little gingham halter sundresses for dogs. Realizing it would just be a novelty, I didn't get one, and upon seeing them, my mom said, "Psh, you could make that!"
So I did!

Butt ruffle.

It ties around her neck like a little bowtie.

I left room for her shoulders.

Wee little bow.

I didn't make a pattern, and this was really the extent of my planning process. I just needed to look at it to be able to wrap my brain around the construction:

And every girl loves twirling in a new dress:
^_^
