craftgrrlSome of you requested the guts/a tutorial for the coin purses I just posted. So here you go: the guts.
I discovered that the coin purse is made of three identical pieces of plastic. The pieces are covered in material and then haphazardly sewn together. It's so easy!
Cut out some plastic or lightweight cardboard into 3 identical pieces and cover them with fabric. Then sew the pieces together at one end (see last pic), and join them together & sew at the other end. Sew two of the three sides, and you're done!
Here are the pix of the guts, followed by a tracing of the pieces of plastic so you know the shape. Good luck!
