so, i had this necklace that was a simple chain with a star pendant, but because it was a cheapy i bought at hot topic, it was starting to tarnish. also, i'm pretty much allergic to everything if it isn't real gold, so i couldn't wear it very long without breaking out into a rash [gross]. but, my history with this necklace makes it very symbolic to me. so i decided to ditch the original chain, and use the pendant to make a new necklace. also... was bored, and don't have to be to work 'til 5. ^^"

very simple... nothing fancy, i know. but i like it.
the colours of the beads didn't show up well... they're dark purple, blue, green, yellow, and i think brown.

now a question... what can i do to "restore" the star from being tarnished? is there a way to clean it? how about a way to protect it from further tarnishing? would something like "bartender's friend" [which i have never used, just heard of] work?

thanks in advance if anyone can help me. ^^"
