i'm back!!
Jun. 15th, 2007 05:18 pmHoly moly it's been a while!
My old digital camera crapped out on me MONTHS ago, so I've been unable to take pictures of all the crafty things I've been doing.
But now, thanks to the wonderful technology of camera phones, I can do just that!!
First, is a purse I made around Christmas time. It was my first ever sewing project, and I love it. The buttons are becoming a little loose these days from daily wear and tear, but I've been too lazy to reinforce them.

Then a cute anchor shelf thing I found at Michael's and painted. (I have a thing for anchors)

A necklace I made to match an outfit

Then a pillow I made for the bf (before he was the bf). The numbers on there are the equation for escape velocity. My nerdy beau just loves that equation.

The ends of the pillow were an old Land's End long-sleeve tee, the middle was the leftover fabric from my purse, and the letters were an old t-shirt.

I made the form on my best friend's sewing machine, and then sewed the letters/numbers by hand.

And tomorrow is the boy's birthday, so today I made him a painting from a picture of the two of us on the roof of my friend's apartment in downtown Detroit.
The picture:

The painting:

I work at an art supply store, and we're usually pretty slow (damn you Michael's for being up the road), so this is what I do with my time.

Hope you guys liked!!
