Doubling scrapbooks?
Jun. 19th, 2007 11:19 amMy mother does foster care and we've had this one little boy for several years, he's leaving Friday to go live with his aunt and I'm making him a small scrapbook of pictures of him and our family from the past few years. To make a long story short, I couldn't decide who would appreciate the book more- him or my mom. He's only 5, but it might be helpful in the transition phase of things. So I was thinking of scanning the pages and printing them out and putting them into a second book, so that there are essentially two scrapbooks but without all the cutting/placing/gluing involved. But the thing is, my printer pretty much blows.
It's a mini-scrapbook, a little bigger than 5x7, but along those lines, not one huuuge 12x12. But the pages are big enough that it's not standard so I don't know if I can just take it to a place like CVS or Walgreens? Would somewhere like Staples or Officemax print out something like that for me? Or am I better off just turning my printer on high quality and seeing what comes out.
