Sock Scarf and Tote Bag!

Even though I've watched craftgrrl for quite some time now, this is the first time I've ever posted anything here. Here I am, sporting a "Gordy Sock Scarf" and a simple tote bag. Both were simple to make!
I actually started knitting the Gordy Sock Scarf last winter, but didn't work on it for a few months. I finally was able to finish it recently, and here it is! It is inspired by Gordy, Bumperboy's sock-wearing best friend. In other knitting news, I also learned how to do continental knitting! For those of you who don't know (and actually care), it's knitting with the yarn on your left hand (if you're right handed). I'm not very good at it yet, but I'd like to practice more.
And the tote bag is a late birthday present for my ol' pal Jamie. Hopefully she doesn't read this before I give it to her! It's been a long time since I've made anything on my sewing machine, and I'm proud of this one. I might have to make one for myself!
