A Bit Of Background: My grandmother has Parkinson's and so feels much more comfortable dressing for dinner if she has a way to protect her clothes. A while back she ordered an "Adult Bib" for about 10 bucks. When the sorry thing came, it was a piece of bright silver vinyl with a hole in it and a sketchy rolled hem that didn't always catch. It was also too short. So, she asked if I could do anything with it, and that's how I got started. Since then, I've made her a couple of her own, and she says she's gotten enough compliments that she thinks she could sell them if she had stock on hand. Here's her modeling one of my favourites:

I don't know if you can tell, the pictures are marginal, but there's a bunch of stuff there, teddy bears, fourth of july, purple snakeskin, a black and white plaid...
And I'm also thinking of doing up some "Ladies Dinner Sets" and "Gentlemen's Dinner Sets." I always have a bunch of fabric left over, so I was thinking for the ladies I could do small purses or clutches, and a glasses case that would match the bibs. For the gentlemen a glasses case would work too, and I'm not quite sure what else. Maybe a hanky? I'm not sure about all that hand hemming....any ideas?
