[identity profile] exploitedfairy.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl

I better start off with saying that I've cross posted this everywhere, so I'm sorry if you see it several times!

You've probably seen my posts regarding my final year degree project over the past few months, and may have even visited the Unglefor Website (please google unglefor if you want to visit)(which has had a bit of a makeover, too!). I said I do a post when I'd completely finished, and post photos of the exhibition of my work. So here it is!

For those who don't have a clue what I'm talking about, check out the website & here's a little intro.
My final year project revolved around t-shirts, and creating a set of creatures (Ungleforians) from them. The final outcome of the project was a set of 14 t-shirts, each with a screen printed pattern that you could cut out and sew your own creature from. There was also a set of t-shirt bound books, and of course the website. The creatures have their own species, and are collectable in that respect.

For now the project is at a sort of stand still because I've just graduated and I'm fucking knackered haha! But come september I'm going to be creating a range of the shirts, along with loads of other similar goodies (maybe not unglefor, but along the same thread).

Some of the creatures, and the books, before being exhibited.

The books and a creature on a shelf at the exhibition, unfortunately one of the books got stolen on opening night so I had to take them down from the display.

Those are all the t-shirt that were displayed. They're all pretty much prototypes, really!

The final show, on opening night, with some random guy looking.

That's about it, there's more photos on the website and on my flickr if you wanted to check them out!

Thanks for looking x
