i'm quite happy with how the smocking turned out except for a bit of messy threads inside due to the thread tensions. Its not hard to do. Just frustrating to manually roll up elastic thread along the bobbin. Might do it again sometime. I like this pattern a lot cos its really easy and not much cutting is involved, all comes together nicely through shirring.

And i like the cheery and refreshing spearmint colour used. Very summer-ish. And very versatile. Yay for dress #1 :D
