Super Simple Belt

A number of friends around the United States have confirmed my theory that it does not occur to manufacturors of baby/toddler clothes/accessories, to actually manufacture toddler BELTS. And, while I appreciate easy-removing pants when it comes to faster diaper changes, there is many a less opportune moment when an active toddler's pants might slide off. My two-year-old, being a child of the more long and skinny variety, has introduced me to many of those less opportune moments.

One piece of 1"-wide black elastic, some reinforced stitching in black thread, and two silver D-rings later....



It'll be tested in action tomorrow.
