crocheted tank top

pattern: light n lively tank on the lionbrand website
yarn: 6 balls sugar n cream in robin's egg blue
hook: F
notions: 2 vintage buttons
time spent making: 3 days, a few hours each day
pattern modifications: lots. i made the bra cups in an XL, the band in S, lengthened the back panel and added increases to each side so i could join the back panel to the bra triangles.

also, i did only three rows of increases instead of increasing throughout the bodice so it wouldn't be as ruffly. and it's short 4 rows... i ran out of yarn and felt it was long enough to stop anyway.
notes: this pattern's sizing is annoyingly inaccurate, but luckily it was easy to modify. i did this tank as a crochetalong on the craftster forums, so i had a few ideas on how to modify it for myself. i didn't like how the back panel was separated from the front piece in the pattern, but i'm really happy with how it turned out in mine. i might like to do this tank again in a dk or sportweight yarn for more drape, but it fits nicely as it is. and i love the buttons. yay.
thanks for looking ^_^
