it is a traveling picture frame!
actually this is a project i started last year. totally screwed it up and try to salvage it. it is basically scraps of fabric, cardboard, hot glue and vintage diamondites from an old costume and a vintage button. the pictures are my kids and i just printed them out on the computer- so if they get ruined while traveling- no big. it holds 4x6 pictures.
i want to make more of these, but of course NICER. like i said this was a screw up- this is cardboard- i want to make these out of basel wood- more durable.
