so I thought I would post some older projects because I finally found a program to resize pics (unfortunately said pics are still not fantastic.. any tips about that?).
all of the purses are actually constructed by my mom. I was in charge of fabric selection & design, I suppose. I am learning her ways!

cute TV/radio fabric, no? this one doesn't have an inside pocket. & I didn't take a picture of the inside cause it's just plain fabric.

the shrubbery enjoys it.

get your kicks on route 66. I love this fabric too.

inside pocket. the lining reminds me of a lumberjack.

vintage western kiddies.

inside pocket.

I requested she make a barrel bag. I think the straps are a bit long..:/. otherwise I like it!

we couldn't figure out where to get the right stuff for straps.. then belt material came to mind. plus ribbon on top.

a zipper?! I'm amazed by her sewing talent. seriously.
onto necklaces. made by me! only me!

tex nex. haha. sorry, lame. yah but it's a bunch of cutesy plastic western charms.

shows how the charms hang, I suppose.

it's pretty long.

I think this one is quite summery. lime green beads on sheer ribbon.

closer.

I do believe that is all for now.
BUT! I do have a question..

I'm throwing my mom a surprise party for her 50th bday. I am planning on a casino theme (cards, dice, red/black, etc.). basically I need ideas .. lots and lots! decorations, food/drinks, activities?, anything!

p.s. if you don't care to view pics, please at least scroll to the bottom of the cut & give me suggestions for the question there!!
