I'm seeing the midnight showing tomorrow omg YAY.

So, riding on the wave of HP crafts that have been on here lately, here is what I made for the Countdown to HP swap on craftster. I can't post it there yet as my partner has not yet received. Boo :(


My partner's house was hufflepuff, so.....

A mug! I painted one just like this ages ago for myself and it was relatively easy so I decided to paint another for my partner! (I've also just recently finished up the set of house mugs for myself too yay!)




A Knitting Roll!! Didn't much use a pattern or anything, but I looked over a few examples. I tried to dye the b/w houndstooth but sadly it was polyester or summat so it didn't take. It turned out a very very pale yellow.






A Pendant! Just something cute, easy, and fun! Painted to resemble the PoA style ties with a bit from the sorting hat song on the back. Just put onto cord! I made one in Gryffindor colors for myself as well :D



House Pennants! Another very easy thing. Little dowels painted black, yellow felt sewn up with embroidery floss and emblems taken from leftover fabric from my HP pj pants!


Now on to the non-house stuff!

First a Hogwarts letter complete with Hogwarts express ticket!! I got the ticket after playing on photoshop with an image from the first film where Harry is holding it.


Then some 1" buttons!! Starting from the top and going left to right they are: S.P.E.W, just a hufflepuff colored one, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Badger Crossing, S.P.E.W, Hogwarts ties, Honeydukes, S.P.E.W, S.P.E.W, Ice Mice, Hogwarts Emblem, and a Support Cedric pin from the GoF. The picture is pretty terrible though. Sorry about that.



Then I did a Honeydukes themed part with....

ICE MICE! I made these when HBP was released and they were lots of fun, so I had to make them again. Man, are they sweet though! The white are peppermint with blue tails, and the blue are spearmint with silver tails.


Then I made some Pumpkin Juice mix!! I made this for HBP and for OotP before it, and it is really quite good! Tastes like pumpkin pie, and is rather refreshing when it is chilled!



And of course you need a bag to put your purchases in...



The whole Honeydukes package



She said she likes the Weasley twins so I had to make her some things from their shop!

Extendable ears!!! Complete with a little tag from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes! The logo I made that is one the box is also on the back of the tag. These were such fun to make. I know they are described as just a flesh colored piece of string, but that's no fun! I contemplated making them into a scarf, or attaching them to a headband, but decided to scrap those ideas.





And a Pygmy puff! He was certainly fun, but he made a mess :\ He's actually about the same size as my Puffskein, James C. Applebum, so he's not really pygmy, but eh. And no, the long pink that's coming out of his mouth is NOT a tapeworm, like my brother said. That's the tongue! Which you can stuff back into his mouth and take back out again when he's hungry. He comes with a little fleece spider that he can eat! I stuffed both the tongue and spider in the mouth, so we'll see if my partner finds them on her own! He comes with a tag as well, but sadly no box :\



....And thats it for the swap! But I did paint a Triwizard cup for myself!






Man, thats a lot of pictures! Well, hopefully I'll be making a few more HP themed crafts before the book release and my HP cookout, so I'll try and post those too when they're done! Happy Harry Potter to you all! :D
