craftgrrl | cute summery necklaces!

I've been watching this community for a while, but this is my first time posting.

My aunt described a necklace and earring set she'd seen to me, and I tried to recreate it for her. I had two attempts, and I think the second one is 100% better than the first--what do you think?

She said it was a "choker length" with a Y pendant...so this was my interpretation.

I used flash in this one because my camera doesn't focus very well without it, so you can kind of see what's going on with the necklace. My boyfriend described the hanging part as a "rattail," lol.

Now for the second version!

In some ways, I think the earrings are the best part of this set--I think they're so cute!

I also made a necklace using some cane glass beads. I think they're really pretty, but they usually look like a regurgitated 3rd grade art piece when I try to use them... This time they worked pretty well, though... The necklace is about 36" long.

The last picture is sort of cheesy, but I saw someone else "pose" their jewelry in this community, so I thought I'd give it a try!
