craftgrrl | Finished quilt!

This quilt is loosely based on a pattern called Plaids & Stripes by Roberta Horton. Most of the fabrics in the top have been salvaged from men's cotton shirts which were damaged or stained. Yay, recycling! The top is hand- and machine-pieced, and the quilting is done by machine.

I'm really happy with this project. I love the scrappy, sort of cottage-y look of it, even though I don't necessarily go in for a lot of rustic or country-looking things, and I also love that is mostly made of fabrics which were fated for the landfill.
