First Crochet project

craftgrrlI have wanted to learn to crocket forever. I finally pinned my friend down and she showed me the ways of the single crochet. (I will master one thing at a time!) I tried and tried to learn from a book, to no avail, but I have made the SC my bitch, at this point! :D I just finished my first official project and I was feeling all giddy so I ran upstairs to show it off to my son.
He said,"Mom, the handles don't match!!" Killjoy!
(I informed him that handles DON'T have to match, per se, as they come in limited colors, besides, I got these for a whopping 50 cents!)
I even lined the inside and added a little pocket.
I will probably wait till Fall as it is more of a jeans kind of bag!
Either way, I love it and am really pleased with my first project! The kid, not so much! :O
