I'm making invitations for a friend's babyshower. I have them all pretty much finished. They are cloth diapers [expect a picture post of the finish product] made out of precious moment fabric and the inside of the diaper its polka dotted fabric. I've also randomly selected who gets a soiled diaper [just a splash/amoeba looking imprint made out of brown construction paper] they are instructed to bring the soiled diaper to the shower whence they'll receive a diaper full of fancy chocolates...
The problem I'm facing is that I dont know how to word the invitation.... I think I want it to be casual or funny I usually am quite good at writing but I've come to a writer's block. I mean outside of saying who it's for, what time to RSVP and such...seems kind of bland. I guess what I'm trying to get at is there an etiquette for the babyshower invitations. I know there are etiquettes for weddings I dont know if the same applies for the babyshower ones. I dont want to have any faux pas lest I offend her mother in law or great aunt XD.
And my other problem is should I use vellum inserts for it or fine card stock. I have a plethora of both and really nice calligraphy pens.
