I finally finished up everything for the care package that I'm giving to my boyfriend.

He has a head! And one ear... The store didn't have a color thread to match the body, so it's not such a subtle stitch.

The head is yet to be attached, I'm just holding it on. The torso was the first part I did, actually. So it's the worst stitched - I was still trying to figure things out. Mr. Sumo Man has stubby little arms because of it D:

He has hair! And is nude! And missing a leg! I'm so glad I actually had thread to match the fabric for the hair. There is such erratic stitching in there, holding that beast on.

He has two legs! And no undies. Dun look! D:

And this is my supervisor. Supervising. Giving me the "Hu-man. I do not see thee engaging in the activities of the craft-making. Resume production at once!" look. She's harsh.

And thus he was be-undied.

This is the painting I did for him. Ok - so I didn't really paint anything other than the heart. I quasi-printed it. I used that make-shift glue+nylons+embroidery hoop technique (which was actually how I found this group - a Google search popped that up). I could never get the fabric to work well because it was cheap and the glue kind of blocked (the edges almost look like messy pixels). But I managed to do a couple cute grungy pieces from it.

I stuck envelopes before each of the gifts in the box to explain them a bit. I glued little fake flowers onto the outside. The 'This was my plan' envelope has a pink flower, the gift envelopes have white flowers, and the love letter stashed in the back has a red one.

Because flowers are manly.

The lid to the box. I used a scrapbooking sticker underneath the bow, it was from a pack that had cute little lovey definitions, and this one is the 'cherished' one.
