i have like a shit-ton of makit & bakit plastic baking crystals.
i have moldable "leading" to make suncatchers with, but i want to make "lead-free" shapes for other projects. i've made some freehand circles, but i don't have a dremel so the edges are all funky.
i thought about using cookie cutters to make cleaner shapes.
i've seen stuff on ebay that's a cookie cutter/die.
i looked at photos of the dies, but they didn't make any sense to me. can anyone enlighten my slow self as to whether i can bake them with my crystals?

the results of my freehand circles:

i like the texture, it looks like that bubbly sort of stained glass. i just don't like the edges. i should probably ask my sister. she's totally practical.

for craftiness's sake:

crafts: sea shapes

the shrinky dinks are double-sided though since they were my first set, the second side faded a bit as it stuck to the paper on the cookie sheet. however, i know how to get the color on the bottom side to stay put. the cookie sheet and paper have to be cold. because the first two or three SDs i put in together came out fine, but subsequent SDs faded. i think i will probably buy multiple cookie sheets for my toaster oven.

hope that helps a fellow SDer!
