Funny thing happened while I was outside this afternoon: a little bird landed on the deck and looked at me with its beady little eyes.

For the body I used Christine's Bird pattern from Marlo's Crochet Corner. I didn't like Marlo's wings or beak so I made my own, and the feet are also freehanded.

Made by request for a friend. Took about three hours, including construction and weaving in ends. What do you think?
