Sewing books
Aug. 26th, 2007 07:43 pmI love making things with fabric. I've got a huge stockpile of vintage and modern fabrics to use up and I'm fed up of making the same things over and over again. I tend to make lined zippered pouches, cushion covers and totes, mostly taking inspiration from Craftster.org. I've made the odd quilt too.
Can anyone recommend a book that contains patterns for simple things you can make out of fabrics? I have loads of knitting books but need some that deal with sewing. Accesories/bags/furnishings are preferred to clothes patterns, although I'm open to any good recommendations.
Thanks guys!
P.S. Please do feel free to post links to online patterns you like, but I'd especially like book recommendations.
