A slight departure..
Sep. 1st, 2007 01:45 amHere are a few things I've done lately
Amber coloured translucent clay (sooo pretty, no?) with metal circles imbedded, on chain:

Circle/geometric pendants (the boldness of the colours don't show in pictures) These were fun to make - I freehanded the circles and then blotted paint on and in the crevice:
front

back

Sweet Pea Necklace:

I think is my favourite necklace out of all the necklaces I've made in the past few months! Translucent amber clay once again, with a hand-carved sweet pea flower that I've painted to make it look soft. I handwrapped beads (I'm in love with these beads; lemon jade and red-orange aventurine) with antique copper wire and placed them accordingly on antique copper chain. Then, I used raw genuine copper that I have to make the 's' clasp (I don't know why, but that really excites me..lol)
What do ya think?
Tomorrow, we're going garage saling...ohhh yeahhh....so off I go. :)
