I am a scrapbooker, I proclaim that I can't even sew on a button... but I did refurbish a pair of pants and a skirt using my scrapbook supplies... :D

I had this great skirt that I wore ONCE and then got bleach on. I couldn't wear it but I couldn't give it up either.
I knew I'd find some way to fix it. Two years passed and I finally came up with a way to "repair" it.

The pink part is the bleach stain. I took a stamp and some white ink and stamped the flowers/curlicues on it.

Then I used a bleach pen and drew in the design.

The whole skirt.

Now I am not sure about washing it. Do you think the bleach will "bleed" to the rest of the skirt?

I fixed my favorite pair of well worn jeans this summer.
Using my crop-o-dile (it punches holes in ANYTHING!) and some ribbon and patches.

Patches on the knees

I originally bought that pirate patch  to scrapbook. It just ironed on. :)

I admit I made my friend sew this one on for me. It's just a piece of pretty ribbon.

Now even fixed they are too worn to wear...any ideas what I could do with them... given my NON sewing skills?

Apologies if you belong to scrapbook communities on LJ....
I've already posted this in a few of them...but I thought I'd share it here too.
Since it's rather crafty and i was quite proud of it.

I made this as a gift for my neice for her first birthday this summer.

I took apart a board book and altered it. The cover is a picture of Kaity that I took and then addded the title in PSP.
It's bound with bookrings (the book binding itself wouldn't stay closed once I altered it so I had to cut the whole thing apart, whihch was a real bitch and would have been easier had I done that FIRST.)
I took the pics of the inside pages before binding it.

I had fun google image searching for the pictures for each color. :D
Her parents speak both English & Spanish so i made it bilingual. :)

I love converse shoes and Josh Groban, so I had ot include them in my book. :D

The back cover~ made in PSP.

She loved it BTW...:)

It's all laminated with conact paper and clear packing tape so she can drool on it all she wants. :D

Like I said before I scrapbook. Since this isn't a scrappy community I won't post those here, but if you are interested here is my online scrapbook gallery. It's mostly pages of Kaity and Josh Groban.

thanks for looking at my stuff. I enjoy seeing all the craftiness posted here! :D
