And you can get closer to my inspiration for this necklace. Since I did not have any sheets of plastic at my disposal, I handsewed several layers of different fabric together (pleather/velvet/silk) and added sequin detailing. Everything was sewed by hand, mainly on a train back from Brighton to London, and I am reasonably pleased with the result.
