Bottle Caps
Oct. 4th, 2007 02:12 amI thought I would do this as a seperate entry from the one I just did so it could go in the memories. .
While I was glimpsing through the memories I saw crafts in which you use bottle caps. At A.C. Moore they have little books for kids that come with what you need to make certain projects, and they have one that has the metal bottle caps. . What it is, is you put a stickered design on the inside *I guess you could say the side the faces down when on the bottle* and you take a random little toy that fits in the cap and you can use clear hot glue and fill the cap 1/2 way and let it sit & it holds the toy in place. Its kind of hard to explain & I tried looking on AC Moore for the book, but can't. . If you're interested and want to know more just let me know & I will try to explain better. Its a great little idea thats quick. The only difference is the kit doesn't say to use hot glue, they give you a lacquer, but I think that the clear hot glue would do the same!
