New Pottery

This is all stuff that I've been making in a pottery class that I've been taking. I've been having lots of fun making cups because I got to buy some stoneware clay. Since they're stoneware, they can be microwaved or used in an oven. Most of them will probably be Christmas presents. I love how the high-fire glazes melt together. The teapot and the shell dish are the only two made out of regular clay.

















I'm not particularly happy about how the glaze turned out on this one. It was supposed to be a plate in the shape of a sea shell, but the glaze ran down into the grooves and filled them up a bit, so you can't see the lines I drew in very clearly.
