Nov. 1st, 2007 07:38 pmSo, Halloween arrived with mixed success on my part. Clicky the Wonder Eye came together in a rough but functional incarnation. (I snagged a little bit of video of him in action, but nothing great...I'll have to re-film and post it later.) Rob's costume came together great, but alas, the airship telegraph went from Mark I to Mark Crap in the final hours of prep time. So, we stuffed the electronics into the shell, taped it closed, and made a bag to hide the ills while still letting the neat blinky lights flash. Bah. :( (This will be fixed, and improved upon, just not right now.)
But at least we looked good. :)

Me in my airship engineer gear. Clicky's perched merrily at the top of my overall bib.

Rob, all Victorian'd out. He dug it enough that he's trying to find reasons to wear it more often. Guess that means we'll have to try and hit some of the steampunk events nearer to us. Oh darn. :) I'll have to make him more steampunky accessories... this time, he had to settle for goggles and a dubiously functional hip-prop.

Rob goes all madboy on us.

Here I am, minding my own business...

Giant pipewrench to the rescue!!!
Anyway... that's us. :) For giant tiki heads, my sister as a Silent Hill nurse, and a couple pretty impressive zombies (among others), check out the Flickr set.
