I have an idea to screw to bookcases together, add some moulding and paint it all to give it a cohesive look. Only the two bookcases in question are completely different from each other. One is that cheapy lamenant particle board type stuff in a blond wood finish and the other is made of real wood that is stained and finished.

Tips, tricks or warnings on how to make them look the same?
