It converts from a shoulder bag to a backpack. Observe my mad photoshopping skills! The background was really dark, you couldn't see it clearly. Five minutes of photoshop was easier than retaking the picture.

Here it is as a backpack. Going to make the next one slightly smaller.

The loop on the back. There's D-rings on the side, you take the strap out and run it through the loop for a backpack.

Funky vintage button closure.
Also, I posted a little while ago about how insane Fabric Mountain had become. Here's my sewing room before:


You can't quite see all the bags full stuffed between the dresser (also stuffed) and the suitcases. My inspector doesn't seem to mind, but I do think she was displeased.

The trunk is still full of stuff, but the other suitcases I've emptied of fabric and organized other things in them (patterns, notions, etc). I love that room again, I can do things I'd never dreamed of, like walk and work and breathe.
