I've been looking for craft ideas to do with my daughter to give as gifts specifically from HER for Christmas (she's two and a half) and found this really great idea for Baby Food Jar Snowglobes but it says to use florist clay, which I've never heard of and don't really want to go out and buy since I only need a very small amount.
Would it be okay to use something else to fasten things to the lid which would become the base)? Hot glue, maybe? I know it needs to be something that won't fall apart or dissolve in the water.
Also, do you think if I make a holiday themed item (snowman, tree, etc) out of sculpey, it would be okay in the water?
