Crackle paint!
Mar. 24th, 2003 12:27 amI have a wooden jewelery box I thought was ugly, so I painted it with acrylics. I was really excited about painting it without thinking through what colors I should use, I like them now, but I want something else.
I found instructions on how to use crackle paint, but since I've painted the box ( dark blue, lime green) I'm not sure if it will come out right
I know I have to paint it white, then use the crackle stuff, but would it crackle the first layer of paint? ( Like, the blue would show too) ;/
I would try it myself, but I don't want to ruin the jewelery box. I want to make it a creamy pink and white, then on the inside i'm going to put dried flowers. I think it will look better than what I have now.
Thanks for any help and sorry if I was confusing.
