Hi-I have an idea for a top I want to sew. The fabric is a nice thick ribbed cotton knit, it won't fray. I was thinking of cutting a pattern into the neckline, cuffs and hem. The problem is it will most likely curl after washing. I need to make the fabric where I plan to cut stiff but washable. Has anyone attempted this? I thought of buckram, but that's not washable. Any ideas are appreciated; otherwise I will use the old trial and error method.
