Hexagon crochet
Nov. 28th, 2007 08:19 amI started bringing my crochet projects to work since it is colder now and I don’t really want to go out and about during lunch. I crocheted this hexagon during my lunch break yesterday.
I rewrote a pattern I found online to make the hexagon bigger (added another row) and more compact so there weren’t as many holes in it (removed some chains).

I don’t want people to get their toes stuck in the holes since this will be made into an afghan. The hexagon is 5 inches wide and I’m also making them with a dark green border and white inside, solid dark green, and solid dark red. I think the middle with the white looks kind of like a snowflake :)
I’m also in the middle of working on a granny square afghan for my grandparents in shades of blue and a scarf made of squares from Jan Eaton's "200 Crochet Blocks" for my mom.
