i'm thinking of hand-dying some wool yarn i just bought, for a project i'm making for school. i need to do this immediately, and on a tight budget, so i had planned on using kool-aid. i've seen it done, and i don't need perfect results, so it seems like a good enough choice.

how do i go about doing this? i've never dyed anything but my hair before. is there any advice you can offer me, or any pages you can point me to that will explain what to do? i'll be sure to post my results :)
