craftgrrlhi kiddos.
um, for christmas i was making a bunch of slippers for people, and i was going to use felted (fulled) wool as the material. i bought a handful of 100% wool sweaters from thrift stores, and today, i threw them in the washer, on a super-hot temp.
none of them shrank, not even a little bit. i'm really confused. i mean, i've felted things that i've knit before in the same way, so why wouldn't these be felting? anyway, i have them in the dryer right now, i don't kow if that will help, but maybe you all can help me? how do i shrink these guys down, if not in hot water?
