craftgrrl | question about wonder under coming off ironing surface smoothly with no tearing (Reply)

So I do the ironing, it sticks nicely but sometimes when you try to lift the pieces up off the surface, the wonder under that may have stuck to your paper* cause I iron on newspaper so as not to mess up moms board*will tear. how do you get smoother lift off? I'm using the brand from pellon, you put your fabric color side down to the table, then put the sticky side on top then iron, or those were the directions I was given. also how long should I iron, I am doing 4 panels in one attempt, seems to work ok:) When there's enough of these made up and put on projects I'll do a picture post:)

also some of my pieces aren't sticking like they should be typically edges, how can I fix this? And why is only the edges not doing as it should?
