I've made a variety of things over the past year and am finally getting around to posting them now! It was one of my To Do items for 2008...haha so I figured I'd better do it now before I started making more projects this year.
Under the cut you'll find a rag quilt, a fused newspaper bag or two, a jeans quilt, a pillow top, and a doll for my best friend's 21st.

Rag Quilt I made for my Grandmother

(I took a fiber arts class and this was our learn-how-to-use-dyes-and-wax-resist, and I needed something to do with my hands so I turned it into an embroidery/use fun colors potential-pillow-top thing)

Fused newspaper bags
(prototypes, frustrated by lack of...stability?? definitely too simple for me but fun to do and exciting to use recycled materials! these are so easy to make, to fuse the bags etc etc...we'll see if i get more adventurous)
This is Marcus! I made him for my best friend because I was going to be in Spain and wouldn't have been there to celebrate her 21st and she also got her wisdom teeth out before I left, so all in all she just really needed a pick-me-up. If any of you have read the Sloppy Firsts series (about Jessica Darling) by Megan McCafferty then you'll understand his name/heart...haha
I have a jeans quilt that I made, too, but I can't find the photos in the end sooooo that is all!
