Neat trick!

For those of you who roll yarn balls instead of leaving your yarn how it came from the store, I offer a neat little trick: Secure the loose outside end by tying it to a hairpin and sticking the hairpin into the ball. It stays put and works whether you wind it as a center-pull ball or... whatever the other kind is called.
I'm not posting a picture of my just-finished Calorimetry because it's to match my work uniform so the color is arch-uninteresting, and I -nevar- want to knit with acrylic again.
