A little on the late side
Jan. 10th, 2008 04:30 pmI made all my Christmas gifts this year. I thought I'd show off some. There may be a few more photos to come in the next few days too.
There are slippers, hats, soap, candles, canned sweet potatoes from my garden and more...
We start off with a loom knitted (yes I know it's not really knitting) Apple I made for my Horticulture Prof.

Next we have the cinnamon ornaments I made thanks to the help from this group. (ya'll rock!)

Next a pair of loom knitted slippers for a co-worker friend.

The blue soaps I made to give out along with my Princess rose soap I posted about here
This one is scented with Jingleberry FO, and has a sort of mottled/swirl of white and blue.
I left it larger so you could see the colors better.

Here we have some of the canned up sweet potatoes from my garden. I cubed them and then canned them in water. I only water bath canned them, which I know is only supposed to be done with acidic stuff, but I told everyone I gave them to that they should be used sooner rather than later and be cooked before consumption.

This is a large gift basket I made up for a friend:
It included: A hat, slippers, cinnamon ornament, 1 bees wax candle with cotton braided wick, a mini-corn bag warmer made from denim harvested from an old pair of jeans, and two bars of the Jingleberry soap.

Well thats it for the photos I have so far. I forgot to take some pictures of some things and I'll have to get those photos when I see those friends... so this is sorta a to be continued :)
