[identity profile] soapfaerie.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl

Hi, this is my first post. :) I'm loving checking out all the cool things everyone's made!

I got a bag of clothes from someone on Freecycle, but unfortunately they were all way bigger than i was lead to believe. Oh well. So since i couldn't use them myself, i figured i'd hack some up!

My mom is a big (though tiny!) Harley chick. So the several HD tanks and shirts would be awesome for her, if they weren't so big. So i decided to make her a bag and a checkbook cover for her upcoming birthday.

They're made from 2 seperate tees. The checkbook cover came out cool, i did the edges all fringe. I've never made anything like this, so hopefully it's not too ugly for you all! ;) :P
